Dear Parents/Guardians:

Just to remind you, our Writing Workshop, which will be in two parts, will start this Saturday, March 1st.

The Yonkers St. Patrick’s Day Parade is scheduled for this Sunday, March 2nd. Our students in grades 3 through 8 are invited to march. Our younger students are also invited to meet us at the parade with their parents and march with us. They are to be in full winter uniform. We will meet in the front of school at 12:15 and should return approximately 3:20. Permission slips are being sent home. Those who march will have a dress down day on Friday, March 8th. (No jeans, bare midriff, etc.)

We started our Math Enrichment Workshop for our 7th and 8th grade students yesterday. As you know they are scheduled for Monday 3-4PM and Friday 3-4PM for approximately one month. Please send a note confirming your child’s participation. This is a wonderful enrichment opportunity for our students and students are encouraged to take advantage of these free and excellent educational opportunities.

Thank you to everyone who sent in their re-registration forms. We are finalizing our lists this week.

Work on the church roof has begun. Heavy equipment will be used and will be on the ramp of the parking lot. Avoid this area. If possible, park your cars on the street and walk into the lot to pick up your children. The parking lot may be more congested because of this work.
